What to expect: Full clinical assessment including a detailed discussion and medical history (completed via intake forms and consultation), internal pelvic floor examination where appropriate, clinical diagnosis if indicated, and development of a personalised treatment plan. This may also include education, discussion of findings, and guidance on what to expect during assessment and treatment.
Symptoms you may have:
Bladder Symptoms:
Leaking urine (for example when coughing, sneezing, or exercising)
Sudden or strong urges to pass urine
Frequent toilet trips
Waking during the night to urinate
Bowel and Pelvic Symptoms
Constipation or straining when opening your bowels
Pelvic pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen or pelvic area
Pelvic organ prolapse symptoms, such as heaviness, pressure, or a feeling of “something coming down”
Exercise related Symptoms
Leaking during exercise or physical activity
Pelvic heaviness or dragging sensations when running, lifting, or exercising
Core weakness or abdominal doming/coning during movement
Difficulty returning to exercise after pregnancy or a break
