PELVIC HEALTH, LOOKED AT AS A WHOLE
More than just pelvic floor exercises.
Pelvic health physiotherapy looks at how your pelvic floor works alongside your breathing, abdominal muscles, movement, strength and everyday activities.
Whether you are experiencing symptoms, recovering after pregnancy and birth, managing pelvic pain, or simply want a better understanding of how your body is functioning, your assessment is tailored to you.
Treatment may include pelvic floor rehabilitation, movement and strength work, breathing and pressure management, scar rehabilitation, education and practical strategies to help you return to the things that matter to you.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Personalised assessment. Practical rehabilitation.
Your first appointment starts with time to understand your symptoms, health history, lifestyle and what you would like to get back to.
Depending on your needs, assessment may include your pelvic floor, breathing mechanics, abdominal wall, movement, strength, scars and other musculoskeletal factors.
An internal vaginal assessment may be offered where clinically appropriate, but is only carried out with your full consent.
Understand
We start by understanding your symptoms, goals and what matters most to you.
Assess
We look beyond one muscle to understand how your pelvic floor, breathing, core and movement work together.
Rehabilitate
You leave with a tailored plan designed around your body, symptoms and goals.
